Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This hotel has been run by the same family for four generations, and it feels like it. The generation that currently runs it made us feel welcome and cared for, like we were personal house guests. For example, on the night we arrived all of the restaurants in town were booked up for dinner, but Hotel Picheyre found a way to accomodate us even on a busy night for them. The rooms are spacious. The lobby is a cozy gathering area. Parking is very convenient just behind the hotel. We spent a lot of time skiing and visiting in Les Angles, which was extremely crowded, so we were glad to get back to the quieter Formigueres at the end of the day.

Negative: Breakfast could have had more options for the price.
