On Beach Time is a step above many of the properties in the popular gated community of Barrier Dunes. This lovely renovated townhome has a water view from the balcony off the master suite. With 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, plus a trundle bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a twin pull-out, On Beach Time can sleep up to a maximum of 8 guests (all sharing rooms). This end unit is a very short walk to the sugary white sand of Cape San Blas, where the spectacular sunsets are second to none.
The first thing you notice when you come up to the main floor is the renovated kitchen, which is a stand-out. This space is well-stocked with new cabinets, countertops, and all stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher, and has everything you need to stay in and cook to enjoy meals together.
The living/dining area is open and inviting with a bay window that lets in extra light and makes the space bright and cheery. The dining area has a table with seating for four, and the breakfast bar has additional seating for three more.The living area has a comfortable sofa and a large flat-screen TV. This space opens onto a great deck area with a table & chairs for outdoor dining, along with a gas grill.
Also on the main level is a bright and welcoming bedroom with a full bed plus a single roll-out trundle bed. This comfortable bedroom has a smart TV, ample space to unpack, and a small private balcony. In addition, there is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination conveniently located between the kitchen and the bedroom.
Upstairs you will find a large and inviting master suite with a king-size bed and a twin pull-out in a comfortable space to relax and unwind. A sliding door opens onto a private deck with two tall chairs that offer a wonderful spot to sit out with a cup of coffee and enjoy a small view of the Gulf. (Please note, this is a typical Barrier Dunes unit and does not have a door on this bedroom.)
There is a double vanity area off of the master bedroom, and the en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, a large soaking garden tub, and a toilet. Also upstairs is a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer.
On Beach Time has been freshly painted, has hardwood floors on the first floor and carpet on the second floor, has comfortable furniture, wonderful outdoor decks, plenty of TVs, wireless internet, covered parking, and beach chairs and a cart to easily get your gear to and from the beach.
Barrier Dunes is a great place for people of all ages. Our community offers safe streets for walking your dog and for your children or grandchildren to play or ride bikes. In addition to the two tennis/pickleball courts, the community also has a wonderful playground, several ponds, three boardwalks to the beach, and two swimming pools - one is centrally located next to the courts and the other pool overlooks the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
