Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Lovely place for a disconnect from the usual daily grind. Warm staff, lovely facilities, fantastic chef for our lunch meal (seriously, the highlight of the stay, unexpectedly good meal for such a small place!), nice wines, peace and quiet, what more can you ask for. There are only 8 rooms, all in the same building and facing vineyards. We got one of the two suites which are bigger but it seemed the other rooms were also very nice, just a bit smaller (also had a small outside terrace and views on the vines).
Negative: We'd love to keep coming back to this property as it's only around an hour from where we live so would be perfect for a short rest break - unfortunately, since we need to travel with our small dog most of the time, we won't be welcome here. :(
