New floating dock! Our single story 2 BR, 1 BA waterfront home is in a perfect location on a quiet canal off of the Weeki Wachee River. Nice cabin feel in the interior. It is only a short paddle to Hospital Hole, and walking distance to the Upper Deck. Relax in the screened porch with a morning coffee, or for a board game with the family. Enjoy a glass of wine at the outdoor dining table or on the canal front dock watching the manatees or the mullet jump. Sit by the bonfire with friends and family. It is a perfect space to relax and recharge. Several kayaks are available including 4 brand new Clear Kayaks! Pet Friendly (weight restriction with $125 pet fee). Come relax, unwind, and make lasting memories!
Our home features a large newly remodeled eat-in kitchen, a large open living room with lots of comfortable seating, and a large-screen TV with fast-speed internet for streaming and basic cable channels for movie nights after a day out on the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the conveniences of home (no dishwasher). The coffee bar is stocked with coffee, creamers and sugar options. The dining area looks out onto the water, and seats 6 comfortably. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, with dressers and closets for storage. The primary suite has a queen bed with a large screen TV for streaming Netflix or Prime (no cable). The second bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed and a second twin bed. There is a daybed in the living room for extra guests, and a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. The screened porch has a loveseat and 2 lounge chairs for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. There is an outdoor dining table that seats 6. There are 4 Adirondack chairs and 2 loungers to enjoy the views. The dock has 2 long stairs and also a ladder for easy water access. There is a propane grill outside for nights you want to grill and stay in, and a fire pit overlooking the dock. There is a firewood rack on the right side of the backyard for guest use. The lot is fenced on both sides, but not in the front. Bring your boat or rent one from the local marina.

RIVER TIME
We have 4 brand new Clear Kayaks! (2 single and 2 2-person) another 2-person kayak, 1 single kayak and 1 SUP available for use by our guests. Use of our kayaks, SUP paddles and life vests are at your own risk and are subject to replacement for loss or damage. The river is spring-fed and crystal clear right from our dock and maintains a steady 72-74 degrees year-round. Swim and fish off the dock, sit and watch the turtles and manatee swim by, or the mullet jump. Please exercise caution as you use the river and be aware of high/low tides.
PET POLICY
PET FRIENDLY! Small/medium-sized dogs (1)who are well-mannered are welcome for a $125 pet fee. If we discover that you bring a pet without notifying us and paying the pet fee in advance, there will be a $250 additional charge. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. There will be an extra cleaning fee applied if pets are not picked up after. There is a dog area on the side of the house with gravel stones so please have pets use that designated area only.

THE AREA
We are about 1 hour north of Tampa and Clearwater Beach. Our home is centrally located between Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and the Gulf. The Weeki Wachee Springs State Park hosts the famous mermaid show and Buccaneer Bay water park. Rogers Park and other boat ramps are close by, as is Pine Island Beach, Hernando Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Scalloping season is July 1st- Sept 24th.
OTHER DETAILS
We accept no liability for injury, including all water activities by guests. There are steps and uneven grass and walking areas throughout the property.
Quiet hours and maximum occupancy will be strictly enforced. Disruptive and/or unsafe behavior of guests/pets will result in removal from our home without a refund of booking. No parties allowed.
If guests plan to invite others over who are not included in the initial reservation, this needs to be pre-approved by the owner/host. Additional charges may apply.
The minimum age to rent is 25.
Holidays have a 3-night minimum reservation.

The Weeki Wachee River Springs Protection Zone is in effect starting the beginning of May 2024. Vessel operators are prohibited from anchoring, mooring, beaching or grounding a vessel within the Weeki Wachee River Springs Protection Zone. Violators are subject to a $140 fine.
