This home is immediately welcoming! The front door opens onto a mudroom with ample storage and then into the heart of the home, the game room. The fireplace, 48' flat screen tv, down stuffed couches, ping-pong table, pool table, game table and wet bar are enough reasons never to leave. The view of Whetstone is amazing. The backyard seems to float across the East River onto to the preserved open space beyond.
The downstairs also includes a gourmet kitchen with granite bar countertop for those who want to advise the chef.The butcher block counter tops offer plenty of prep room. The pantry offers plenty of storage and the appliances are all top of the line GE & Dacor. The adjacent dining room has a 60' round table and the sunroom has a great spot for a children's table. It also doubles as a great activity room and has awesome views of the river. The living room is a comfortable seating room with its own flat screen TV, window seat, cabinets full of games and large book shelf. The built in window seat is perfect to relax and read or look for bald eagles flying by the river. A well lit table for games is also in this room.
The upstairs houses all four bedrooms, three baths, laundry room, hot tub deck, sitting area and playroom loft. The bedrooms have down comforters that are very cozy and colorful. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The other rooms are queen size beds. Each room has its own color and cheerfulness whether it be light blue, taupe, or green!The playroom loft is a great place to practice yoga or send the kids for their own movie time!
