Whether you're into clamming, kiting, or just walking along the shore, you won't have far to go! Bring your shovel and bucket or kite right out back where you'll have direct access to Rockaway's seven miles of white, sandy beach. Take a hike on one of several trails in Oswald West State Park that lead to the beach, Cape Falcon overlook, or to the Oregon Coast Trail. Take the bike over to Nehalem Bay State Park and head out on the one and a half mile trail that circles the bay. Or, hop on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway and follow the rugged and beautiful coastline, pulled by a vintage steam locomotive.
