Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed in late March 2026, in a sea view room with hot tub. Room is compact but beautifully done and very comfortable with good amenities. The view from the balcony is second to none, especially at sunset on a clear night. Breakfast served in the restaurant is lovely, with a personal service and kitchen made options to compliment a modest continental offering. We also ate here one evening and the food was excellent, so I recommend that highly. Special mention to Kurt for going out of his way to make us comfortable - opening the gym downstairs a little earlier to suit us, and generally adding the personal touch. I especially recommend this place due to the fact is is family run, supporting a local area. There was some redevelopment work occurring in the area at the moment, so first impressions can be a little jarring on arrival to the town, but do not be put off; it's very worth it.
