The Cressey House is a new construction home inspired by the original Cressey House from 1885 that is no longer there. In fact, the wood trim windows are salvaged wood from the original home so nothing on them, please. The large windows bring in excellent natural light, but we get that blackout blinds are needed for good sleep. We want you well rested so that you can kayak the Willamette River, hike or mountain bike at Silverfalls State Park, head to the coast to hike God's Thumb (not for those afraid of heights), the Dune at Pacific City, or sit back and enjoy one of the many great wineries in the area.

When you are done exploring, walk into downtown Independence, which is 4 blocks away, and grab a Gilgaburger at Gilgamesh along with their Mamba beer, grab some raspberry tiramisu at Jubilee, enjoy the Willamette River views at Territory, or just grab a pizza and play games at the house. We've got a large tv with a Roku, books, games, and puzzles for when peopling is just too much for you. Introverts, rest assured, we have you covered.

This is Oregon so we love our dogs. We have two dog beds with blankets and sheets ready to go for your pooches to relax after a long day of exploring Oregon. We just ask that you crate them when you aren't at home as new places can be anxiety-producing for some dogs. Dog shampoo is ready to get them clean because it you are doing Oregon right you will likely have sand or mud on your dog.
