Summary: The check in process was easy and the flat was set up nicely for guests. The kitchen was well appointed and the living room was comfy after a long day of sightseeing. The dining room was very pretty and the upstairs loft area was fun. Although we were very mindful of being quiet and respectful of the downstairs neighbor she is extremely overbearing, even during non quiet hours when were were speaking in normal volume, especially if we tried to use the dining room. She expressed her displeasure by pounding at our floor repeatedly which was alarming to say the least. It even happened when we weren't in the dining room and were in another room whispering. As we were only there for two days we avoided the dining room after our first try and we spent less time overall in the apartment than we might have. The second day we were there we spent the entire day out, entered the apartment quietly and were met with thumping before any of us even uttered a word or moved beyond the entryway. I can't imagine what she would do during a longer stay or if your party included children. This is unfortunate as the actual hosts of the flat have done everything right. The place is charming, clean and thoughtfuly done, but we would hesitate to stay again.
