York Place is a street in central Edinburgh, part of the New Town and made up almost exclusively of 18th century buildings. There are numerous restaurants , cafes and bars in the local area, and the apartment is close to all major attractions.
Waverly train station is less than ten minutes minute walk, and the tram to/from the airport is just two minutes walk from the apartment.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms- two king bedrooms and one twin bedroom, and two family bathrooms with bath and shower, plus an en suite. Triple glazing throughout keeps the apartment peaceful, despite the central location.
Large, comfortable living area with two sofas and a real fireplace, and fully stocked kitchen and dining area, with French doors leading outside to the private patio.
Everything you would need for a home away from home- oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher , fridge/freezer and all kitchenware provided (plates/cutlery/pots and pans/ glasses etc). Also basic provisions such as tea and coffee.
Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, iron/ironing board, and access to a travel cot and highchair for young children.
All linens and towels are provided, as well as shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, toilet roll.
The apartment is all on one floor, with a few steps down from street level to access. We operate a self check in, with the lock box code provided a few days before the arrival date. Check in time is from 3pm, and check out is by 11am on the day of departure.
Up to two on site parking spaces can be provided on request, at a reduced rate.
The host lives locally so is able to deal with any issues which may arise.
