Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The apartment is very modern completely renovated with a lot of taste and you can see the host put a lot of effort into updating this place. WiFi was great which was important when working remotely like I did. The host was super nice and very quick to answer and help us with our questions. It has free prime video on top of cable and you can log into your Netflix account if you want. Also lots of channels if you need to watch tv. Location was pretty good, uber and bolt are easy and cheap to take to attractions nearby or you can walk. Loved the water pressure in the shower. Very quiet.
Negative: The elevator did not work and has not been working for the past 2 months based on what a neighbor said. We had to take our very heavy suitcases 3 sets of stairs which was Very uncomfortable after a long flight. Would not be an issue without suitcases. The view from the apartment is depressing and faces the interior building which has never seen any renovations since 1950s probably, which is not uncommon for Bucharest. It was hard working remotely from the apartment to see that view days in a row. But if you are here to visit and not to work then it won’t matter. The building gathered the trash in the interior building and when it’s 35 degrees outside it’s best to keep the windows closed. The apartment has great silent AC which we appreciated it. The apartment itself on the inside is 5 out of 5 stars. The building itself and elevator not so much but again not uncommon for a central location in Bucharest and it’s a trade off if you want to be in such a good location close to everything.
