Summary: We stayed for two weeks to attend the 78th D Day Anniversary. We have been to Normandy for 3 other anniversaries. Anne-Marie met us at the gite and she was delightful. She gave us thorough information and has a detailed help book in the house with everything you could ever think of. We needed some extra pillows and linens and she was there within a few hours. Every time I reached out to her with questions, she answered within minutes. The bathrooms are lovely and the bedrooms, very cozy. we were so close to the butcher, baker and little market. In fact, the butcher, Willie, supplied us with most of our meals (precooked). We had roasted chicken with potatoes, grilled pork, delicious tarts all cooked by Willie. We only ate out once in the town which was a great restaurant too. We were also greeted with a few goodies in the refrigerator and a home made pound cake. Thank you Anne Marie for a wonderful vacation home! Oh, and we enjoyed their finished attic level. Vickie and Mark
