Summary: The views out to the sea were why we selected the villa in the first place and we were not disappointed. Was lovely to lie in the infinity pool and stare out over the edge! Quality of accommodation very good and, apart from a slightly sparse kitchen (we ended up buying a few items), all was there and in good/new condition and a big fridge with ice-dispenser was excellent. Sky TV worked well (has been an issue on previous holidays) albeit for the few times we used it; Wi-Fi a bit slow but was, most importantly, very reliable - even after a couple of power cuts. The villa has three good sized bedrooms, large living/dining and all modern standard as were the bathrooms; plus a couple of bunks downstairs next to the cinema room (which itself is good for rainy days (we only had one)). Outside areas were excellent for evening meals with beautiful views over the nearby hills - and during the day we had no problem finding shade on the patio due to the roll-out blinds and seating area at the back of the terrace. Inside airco units all worked well and fans in the bedrooms were also quite useful. The housekeepers had prepared all very nicely and were friendly and helpful, also sorted a few minor items quickly. You definitely need a car (and one that can get up the steep driveway!). Restaurants are in abundance, but really all are a short drive away - although taxi service up to the villa and back worthwhile if you all fancy more than a single glass. Favourite restaurant - "Le Dauphin" in El Portet; good views and top notch French cuisine (Michelin star quality) - make sure to book.
