Positive: The host was excellent, speaks English, German, and Spanish, and is reasonable and easy to deal with. The property is better than expected, clean and friendly. Location: The auto-locking door makes coming and going from the house effortless. The soft white bedding and pillowcases provide a cozy sleep experience. The bathroom has strong water flow and warm water, with ample heating in the room. Emotions: I feel at ease about my home’s security, allowing me to run errands or enjoy outdoor activities without hurrying back due to concerns about theft or the need to check on the house. My belongings feel safe. Staying in the same compound as the helpful landlord, who answers questions about this new place, significantly reduces my stress. It feels warm and comforting, like visiting my grandfather.

Summary: Had a lovely time at our first stay in Uruguay.
