Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: This was a lovely escape from the city to revel in the snowy woods with our pup. They have thought of the smallest details to keep you safe, comfortable, and entertained. I brought books to read with me, but they were unnecessary with all the reading material, coloring and writing options, high speed wifi, and the subscription entertainment on the big screen. We cozied up into the couch under comfy blankets with the tea provided. We finished one of their puzzles while watching movies. I luxuriated in the long tub thanks to the small and mighty water heater and epsom salts. We had s'mores over the crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit waiting for the bright stars to fill the night sky. In the mornings, a family of deer greeted us as we sipped coffee on one of the decks. While you may not want to leave this affordable cabin, you should really check out the nearby sights! The brewery, pizza shop, lake walk, wineries, and local attractions are the right amount of low key fun to recharge your batteries. We can't wait to visit in the other seasons to see the environs change and thrive. Pack your pajamas and get ready to enjoy yourself!
Negative: There's a dog living in a cabin up on the mountain side that barked at our pup. We didn't end up sleeping upstairs because we were plenty warm and comfortable on the first floor.
