The Tutor style house lies on the corner of a pleasant cul de sac. The neighborhood is family friendly, safe and quiet as it is secluded with no drive through traffic perfect for taking long strolls. The front yard is vast and it in the back is cozy, private garden courtyard complete with a firepit, a grill, fountain and patio furniture, well suited for entertaining.
The location is an upscale neighborhood with an easy commute to George Mason University, Inova medical center, Mosaic District (shopping and theater), DC Metro, Army Navy Country Club, Trader Joe's and so much more. Nearby farmer's markets and many other events are available throughout the year. The school district is one of the most recognized in the country, Woodson High School pyramid.
When you enter our home, the foyer is spacious with a larger that typical entry closet. The first floor is comprised of five other rooms. A formal living room with a piano, a large dining room with a dining table able to seat 16+ people, a home office, a beautiful family room with fireplace and access to the courtyard, a large kitchen with with eating area overlooking the courtyard and a half guest bathroom. Off of the kitchen, there is a two car garage with storage space as well as unlimited street parking.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with upgraded appliances, stainless steel stove top & Oven, and sub-zero refrigerator.
The second floor has 4 bedrooms. The master suite has a separated sitting area, two closets and a walk-in closet. The master bathroom has both a shower and large Jacuzzi bathtub.
The other three bedrooms vary in size and share. The other two full bathrooms are on the same floor
There is a large linen closet as well as a modern washer and dryer unit on the same level as the bedrooms.
The home has a lot of natural light as well some nice shade from an oak and a maple on one side of the house. Each room is very spacious and can accommodate various functions.
