Positive: The view from the balcony was beyond exceptional. Honestly, we could have sat on the very spacious balcony for the whole of our 2 weeks and still not been bored with the views across the sea and at the mountains on the mainland. Get up at the right time and the sunrise over the mountains was fabulous. The owner was very nice and helpful. He also provided us with produce from his organic garden. The accommodation is close to a small shale and rocky beach which only the locals seem to know. And you're also close (walking distance unless you have a disability) to the centre of Sumartin with a few places to eat, a shop, and one of the best gelato places we've come across. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with good wi-fi. There's great hiking in the area. The proof of a good review is; would we happily stay there again (yes), and did our 2 weeks seem long enough (no).

Negative: The building can echo. You do, as with most places, rely on those nearby to be reasonably quiet. But because it's such a quiet area with great views and, other than eating and drinking, no nightlife, it doesn't lend itself to noisy behaviour. Additionally, I think, there are only 3 places to rent, so it's not busy, The only thing that might disappoint some; Whilst there's a twin induction hob, toaster, microwave, kettle and all the usual cooking items, there is (at least at present) no oven. We like to do some of our own cooking so we did have to improvise a little. But the trade of for the views and location... Completely worth it. Finally, if you have a mobility disability, you do need to be able to manage some stairs to get to the apartment.
