This traditional house, built of massive Corfiot stones dates back to the 19th century and was designed in the Venetian style. The complete reconstruction was done using the historic building materials and with great respect to the orignal. Today, the villa's intelligent layout will give guests a blend of privacy and conviviality in the different areas of the villa and garden. Three very comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms on the cool lower floor and an openspace living area on the upper floor offer generous space for up to 6 people. You will be surprised by the feeling of belonging that the tasteful decoration and comfortable amenities of this house will instill -maybe though it just has a good spirit of its own. Feel like a true Corfiot, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas of the island this place will be a haven of peace at the end of each day lazing on beaches or discovering the island. Or spend your day on the generous terrace, just enjoying the views and the change of light. You will never tire of the scenery of the terracotta tiled roofs of the village leading into the lush Doukades valley with olive groves and cypress trees and to the far distance of the mountains lining the Western coast. The two romantic gardens offer an abundance of mediterranean plants dispensing their delicious aromas. We grow fresh herbs for infusions and elaborate dishes to be prepared in the well-equiped and chef-proof kitchen.
