This home can comfortably accommodate up to six guests in two bedrooms + the casita with space for more on the additional four twin size day beds found throughout, making it ideal for couples or friends. All bedrooms include queen-size beds, premium linens and a closet. The day beds are left so you may enjoy them as lounge areas, linens and blankets are located in the house if guests would like to utilize them as sleeping spaces.

★ Outdoor shower with national park views is available to all, but connected to primary bathroom as well

The gorgeous light filled kitchen at Zephyr's Alcove has everything your inner chef desires, including high-end appliances and cabinets stocked with dishes and cookware. Like the rest of the home, even the kitchen offers stunning views.

-LIVING SPACE-
The living room features a breathtaking wall of windows that look out to the rocky landscape and modern in-ground saltwater pool. Enjoy a movie on the projector in the cozy furniture or simply relax and play cards by the malm fireplace (not operational). There are two twin leather beds that function as loungers or additional sleeping areas. The casita has it's own living area as well as equally impressive views and similar leather beds.

-OUTDOOR SPACE-
Savor the desert sunshine at the private pool and in-ground hot tub that overlooks the Joshua Tree National Park (heating of pool in cooler months at an additional fee). Gather around the propane fire-pit after a dip in the pool or simply star gaze from one of the best dark-sky stargazing locations in the United States. The pool deck is surrounded by an expansive patio with chaise lounge chairs and an outdoor bench. Off the back of the Casita is a patio with additional seating and privacy.

★ Pool can be heated in April & October for $200/day. Due to high fuel costs in our area, pool heating is not available from November-March. The pool is maintained at 80 degrees the other months, but can fluctuate slightly with extreme temperatures

Zephyr's Alcove is the perfect setting for much needed rest & relaxation - whether that means hiking, yoga, reconnecting with nature, drinking with friends or simply doing nothing at all.

Parking is available for four vehicles at the entrance of the house.

The house is equipped with all new appliances, dishwasher, air conditioning and heating, bluetooth speakers and high speed wifi.

Visitors come to the High Desert for its unique landscape, culture, and recreational opportunities, as well as for the weather - hot and dry summers and mild winters at our high altitude. Guest Access:
You will have the entire house and property to yourself. Only registered guests are allowed, unless specifically agreed upon during the booking process. While we encourage taking walks around the property and in the National Park, please do not wander into our neighbor's backyards in the surrounding area as you will be trespassing on private property. This includes the adjacent shipping container compound.

Getting Around:
This is a remote location down dirt roads, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

Interaction with Guests:
Our property manager, Homestead Modern, is local and has staff available from 9am-9pm.
