The home has two master bedrooms on each side of the main living space, both with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and large en-suite bathrooms. Three additional bedrooms bring the home's occupancy to 10. Furnished in the grand style of the original Mauna Kea homes, Fairways South 18 is finely decorated with hard wood, luxurious tropical furniture and authentic Big Island memorabilia. Beautiful touches like a lava rock waterfall create the perfect blend of classic luxury and upgraded modernity.
Guests of Mauna Kea Fairways South 18 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $240/day in 2024 (2025 rates have yet TBD & are subject to change) + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel.
Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections which may, at times, cause interruptions to golf, tennis and hotel services. Please contact the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel- (808) 882-7222 - for more specific information about access during your travel dates. The renovation will be ongoing from April 2024 until the summer of 2025. The Westin Hapuna Hotel will *not* be impacted by the renovation and will be open as normal.
