A charming and characteristic house situated in one of the oldest polders in the Netherlands, just 10 km from the convivial cheese city of Alkmaar. The house is an ideal base for nice walks and cycling tours in the beautiful natural surroundings and through picturesque villages like De Rijp and Driehuizen. The perfect way to explore this scenic area, abounding in water, is by renting a canoe or rowing boat. The living room has a cosy sitting area and the steep staircase takes you to the bedroom with double bed and the first bathroom with rainwater shower. Through the attractive and fully equipped kitchen you reach the studio and the second simple bathroom. A steep staircase leads from the studio to the first floor, which has two bedrooms. Behind the house is a beautiful garden with several terraces. A wonderful home where you'll have no trouble relaxing. Please note, if the house is not rented, a cat will stay in the house, so it is not suitable for people with allergies.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters Reservations for groups of persons under 18 years of age are not permitted It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house
