Summary: Check in was good, Dave on sight allowed us to check in early which was a great bonus. The photos make it seem like the property is on the lake, so when we pulled into the property that matched the photos, we were told we actually booked the property across the small road, and that they just โ€œuse those photosโ€ for every cabin. Luckily, Dave allowed us to take the cabin right on the water. So note, this property is NOT right on the water. We were a bit frustrated with the lack of communication though because when booking, we asked for the pontoon rental for the duration of our stay and agreed on a price. The person who deals with the boats had no idea about this when we arrived and was unaware about the pre-negotiated price, which they ended up agreeing to. However this meant that we didnโ€™t actually get the boat until 7:30pm, which was a bummer because we hoped to use it when we got there. The cabin itself was tidy, but not super clean; cobwebs/spiders, bugs. The twin beds and pillows were wildly uncomfortable, and all that was provided for bedding was 1 very thin duvet cover that smelled like stale smoke. The plates/silverware all felt like they had to be re-washed prior to use. But it did have everything listed, โ€œbare minimumโ€ perhaps. The pontoon boat was okay, pretty old/used and if it wasnโ€™t for the โ€œdealโ€ we agreed upon we wouldโ€™ve rather have booked a boat from just across the way. Overall, wouldnโ€™t stay here again but it was just okay!
